Dear audiology professional,

There’s no doubt that in the past two years dramatic change has been felt right across Australia’s audiology profession. We have seen the ACCC take a frowning interest in how audiology businesses interact and communicate with customers; we’ve seen consolidation and contraction in some audiology businesses with the closure and merger of some locations; we’ve seen senior leadership changes and some redundancies too.

Looking back, after many years of being left behind, 2018 will be remembered as the year of the customer: average prices fell, more clinics were available than ever before, and higher levels of technology became more available at lower prices.

And in 2019, we believe the customer will be an even bigger winner. For our part, we will accelerate our opening program, with more than 100 of our stores already taken for audiology. We’ll bring on more audiology joint venture partners to make us accessible in more than 150 locations within the next 12 months. In short, 2019 will see us make even greater waves in the market – and the beneficiaries will be our customers and our audiology partners.
