In just nine months, a Specsavers Audiology partner has grown their businesses to the point they require an audiology professional to join their team.
Audiology partner Kathy Currie first joined the network in June last year, opening a store in Lavington near the NSW-VIC border and four months later opening stores in nearby Albury and Wodonga.
In a first for the Specsavers Audiology network, demand for audiology services in each of the three locations has increased, with Kathy now needing to grow her team to meet her customers’ needs.
As Specsavers Audiology is still in its early stages, currently, all open locations are run solely by the Joint Venture Partners.
More than 300 local customers have chosen to utilise Kathy’s audiology services, with the businesses now requiring additional support to continue offering the high clinical standards and approach to customer care that Specsavers is well-known for.
Kathy said that the mix of quality products, affordable prices and focus on the customer had really resonated with the local communities around her businesses.
“The business growth and demand for my services has exceeded my expectations at nine months,” she said. “I did not imagine that I would be looking to hire another clinician at this point but being busier than expected is a good problem to have, and now I look forward to growing my team.”
