Specsavers Audiology’s 80 partners and their store teams have officially screened half a million Australians for hearing loss in just two years.
The hearing screening program, offered to customers aged 40 and over, reached the milestone mid-November, signalling yet another success for Specsavers Audiology.
Specsavers Audiology’s Head of Retail, Mike Protopsaltis, said the program had brought the importance of hearing health to a new generation, in an effort to transform behaviours towards hearing loss in the future.
“To screen half a million people in just over two years is a remarkable achievement for both our audiology partners and our store teams,” he said.
“Everyone involved should be proud of the role that they have played in bringing hearing health to the forefront of our customers’ minds.”
Specsavers Audiology services are now available in half of Specsavers’ total store network.
Mike said as the business continued to grow, so would its reach.
“This will allow us to screen more Australians and continue to raise the profile of hearing health,” he said.
“We foresee that by mid next year we will be screening in excess of 75,000 customers every month. Now that is something to get excited by.”
