Specsavers Audiology successfully wraps up second ACAud Congress attendance

The Specsavers Audiology team wrapped up three days of buzzing activity at the ACAud National Congress in Brisbane earlier this month.

The Congress, held every two years, was an opportunity for Specsavers Audiology to raise further awareness of the business’ model, explain the rollout schedule for 2019 and meet with audiology professionals interested in joining the company as a joint venture partner.

Specsavers Audiology hosted a stand at the Congress, with current partners available to describe life as an Audiology Partner, providing first-hand experience about their journey from employment to business ownership.

It’s the second time Specsavers Audiology has had a presence at the Congress, with the 2017 event taking place in Specsavers’ inaugural year.

For Specsavers Audiology’s Head of Retail, Mike Protopsaltis, the Congress was the perfect forum to share the story of the Audiology business, and just how far it had come in such a short time.

“We were so new to the industry at the last Congress, and it was so pleasing to have a bigger and bolder presence this year,” he said.

“We were able to showcase partner success stories, share the journey thus far and discuss how we have opened 100 stores, highlight our next target locations and debunk any myths audiology professionals might have heard.

“It was a really positive three days in Brisbane and we spoke to many passionate and enthusiastic audiology professionals who were interested in the customer-centric model we offer.”
