Welcome to 2019 – the year of the customer

Dear audiology professional,

Welcome to 2019! What a year 2018 was. I hope you all had the opportunity to step away from your customers and your clinics and enjoy some well-deserved rest over the festive period.

For me, the new year gives myself and the entire audiology department at Specsavers the opportunity to set some new goals for our service offering and rollout. This year we will be aiming to build on the groundwork of 2018, increasing our store network to more than 150 stores by the end of 2019.

That’s half our Australian network and it means a huge percentage of Australians who need access to affordable hearing care will now be able to have it.

We will also be looking to place audiology services in more regional locations this year as well as targeting specific stores that are ready and raring to include audiology.

As always, we’ll be working hard in the background to ensure we are providing our current raft of partners the best possible technology, products and support services to free them up to focus on their customers.

While last year was definitely a turning point for customers – average prices fell, they had access to more clinics than ever before, and higher levels of technology became more readily available at more affordable prices – we feel this year will be even more so.

Our partners will be doing their part and continuing to make waves in the market with our open and transparently priced products and services.

If you’re thinking about a career change in 2019, I urge you to get in touch to enquire if your desired store locations are still available.

We’ll also be hitting the road next month to meet with some of you face-to-face. We hope to hear from you in some capacity soon.
